Introduction

Modern slavery encompasses slavery, servitude, human trafficking and forced labour. Locum has a zero tolerance approach to any form of modern slavery. We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity and transparency in all business dealings and to putting effective systems and controls in place to safeguard against any form of modern slavery taking place within the business or our supply chain.

Our business

Since 1986 Locum has focused on security software development and security evaluation and consultancy. Locum personnel have a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the Unisys ClearPath MCP environment and over the years have acquired a wide practical experience of security issues working with various financial, commercial and government institutions. Today, Locum continues to offer clients security evaluations, consultancy, training and services.

Our policies

We are committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains or in any part of our business. Our Anti-slavery Policy reflects our commitment to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships and to implement and enforce effective systems and controls to ensure slavery and human trafficking is not taking place anywhere in our supply chains.

In addition to our policies Locum is taking the following steps to prevent human trafficking:

  1. Identify and assess potential risk areas when considering taking on new suppliers and regularly review our existing supply chains.
  2. Mitigate the risk of slavery and human trafficking occurring in our supply chains.
  3. Monitor potential risk areas in our supply chains.
  4. Protect whistle blowers.

Our supply chains and partner adherence to our values

The relationship with all our partners has been established over a number of years and Locum acknowledges responsibility to the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and will ensure transparency within the organisation and with suppliers of goods and services. To date we have not been made aware of any human trafficking / slavery activities within our supply chain but if any were highlighted to us then we would act immediately in accordance with our legal and moral obligations.

This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes our Company’s slavery and human trafficking statement for the current financial year.
